Confectionary is among the most popular consumer goods category.

The key purpose of Danaflex packaging produced for this industry is to maintain the original taste of the product whilst providing eye-catching packaging and a high output on the filling machines. Every product in this category needs express protection from all kinds of impact.

Cookies and wafers are low-moisture and high in fat, so their packaging needs to provide high moisture resistance and low gas permeability (since atmospheric oxygen has a negative impact on the fats in the product).

Rolls and cakes have high moisture levels and so the packaging must be moisture-proof.

Chocolate is light-sensitive and needs protection against atmospheric oxygen, particularly if it contains nuts.

The selection of type and structure of the packaging material is therefore customised according to the products, and this is a process that Danaflex takes very seriously.

Generally, in the case mono-polymer films with or without special coatings, multi-layer barrier compositions are applied.

  • Twist PP

    1. Varnish finish. Thickness: 1 µm

    3. White/transparent/MET twist PP. Thickness:: 30 µm
